Q: What is this
site?
A: Maple-Records.com lets you
lookup someones abusive profile on Maplestory to see if other users
have seen them hacking, scamming or simply being rude. Users can
even file a report if they've seen a hacker, scammer or even if they've
just met a rude person.
Maple-Records.com
also serves as a hacker monitoring website. Users can what hacker has
the highest level, how many known hackers there are and how many known
hackers have been banned.
This may even prove to be
a useful tool for Nexon someday since all hacker reports come with
screenshots!
Q: Things are REALLY slow,
information on lookups and signatures are not displayed properly!
A:
Please make sure
that all the below ticks are green. If they are not then you may have
problems accessing some areas of the site. If MapleTip is down then no
signatures will be correctly generated and lookups will fail.
Q:
I just saw a hacker! How do I report them?
A:
Click
here, but make sure you have a screenshot first as evidence.
Q:
The character info on the lookup or signature generator page is wrong!
A: Common reaons
why the ranking image/data is not displayed properly:
1. The
user is in the top 10 rankings.
2. The user is not on
the Maplestory rankings or doesn't have a rank picture.
3. The
Maplestory website is down.
Please note that if you
change your characters clothes,
it won't show up on the lookup page or on your signature page
immediatly.
It will take up to 2 days for it to automatically change on your
signature and up to 24 hours for it to change
on the lookup page.
If you still can't view
the proper characters information and none of those apply to you then
please contact
us
with the characters username you're trying to lookup and the Maplestory
version. (Global, SEA or Europe)
Q: How come you don't
support other
Maplestory versions like Maplestory Korea,
Maplestory Japan, Maplestory Thailand, etc?
A:
Obviously I can't read those languages. If you can, please don't offer
to help me translate since maintaining the script takes a lot of work
and I can't contact you immediately when something goes wrong.
Q:
How come there's all these black spots or blurs on screenshots?
A: If person who was being reported were to find out who
reported them then this may lead to things like mass defames, so we
remove
everyone in the screenshot except the person who is being reported.
Q:
Why isn't my signatures level, rank, picture or experience updating!
A: We only updated the signatures once every 24 hours.
